Francisco Hernandez, 21, Killed in Accident on Pacific Coast Highway
MALIBU (May 26, 2018) – A pedestrian killed after a traffic collision on Pacific Coast Highway Friday morning has been identified as Francisco Antonio Mundo Hernandez, according to The Daily News.
Los Angeles County coroner’s office said Hernandez was a 21-year-old North Hills resident.
As per the article, deputies and California Highway Patrol affirmed Hernandez was on the right shoulder when for an unknown reason he moved into the path of a 2009 Toyota Prius. The 62-year-old Calabasas woman driving the car ultimately struck him.

Hernandez was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident was reported in the 18200 block of Pacific Coast Highway, also known as Highway 1, at about 5 a.m.
Coroner’s officials on Saturday, May 26 released the name of a who was struck by a car and killed on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.
Meanwhile, the motorist involved appeared to have stopped and cooperated with the authorities after hitting the young man. The incident remains under investigation.
