Frank Thomas Neal, 60, Fatally Struck by Vehicle at Niagara and Sunset Friday
Ocean Beach, CA (May 25, 2021) – On May 21, Friday, Frank Thomas Neal died following a hit-and-run collision in the area of Niagara Avenue and Sunset Cliffs Boulevard.
The San Diego Union-Tribune reported the 60-year-old man fell from the sidewalk, and ended up lying in the roadway. Just before Frank Neal managed to get up, a passing SUV struck him.
Per article published online, the pedestrian sadly died as a result of the crash. The San Diego Police Department identified the fatal victim as Frank Thomas Neal.
Deadly Hit-and-Run Crash in Ocean Beach, May 21
The CHP dispatch mentioned the driver of the SUV fled the scene before police arrived. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate several factors surrounding the deadly car accident in Ocean Beach.
