Pedestrian Killed in Crash on Frazier Mountain Park Road
FRAZIER PARK, CA (November 8, 2021) – A crash killed a pedestrian in the Frazier Park community of Kern County.
According to an article published by the 23 ABC News, the tragic accident took place last week on Friday evening. Officers reported the collision at about 5:53 p.m.
The incident happened on November 5 when a vehicle struck the pedestrian on eastbound Frazier Mountain Park Road. The California Highway Patrol said the driver hit the person, just west of Grand Terrace Estates in Frazier Park.
Victim Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and found the victim lying on the ground. The patient sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon pronounced the person dead. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the motorist stopped and stayed at the site following the incident.
The cause of the fatal pedestrian collision is still under investigation.
Officers forced the eastbound lane of Frazier Mountain Park Road to shut down for a time after the crash.
