BARSTOW, Calif. (Jan. 16, 2019) — Fred Lawrence Eylicio, 61, of Barstow, died Tuesday morning when he was struck by a vehicle in the 1200 block of Main Street, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.

The crash was reported at 6:04 a.m. to the Barstow Police Department.

Police responded and found Eylicio badly injured in the roadway. Paramedics transported the injured man to Barstow Community Hospital where he was pronounced dead in the emergency department at 6:37 am.

The Barstow Police Department is investigating the incident.

Barstow Accident Investigation

Police are reviewing the facts of this accident and will determine liability.
