Edison, CA (May 6, 2021)Fred Ricardo, a 69-year-old Fresno man, died following a car accident in the area of Brawley Avenue and Kearney Boulevard on October 22, 2020.

According to Your Central Valley, Fred Ricardo was behind the wheel of a vehicle traveling on Kearney Boulevard. When the driver approached Brawley Avenue, he drove through the intersection. Officials mentioned there were no stop signs on Kearney.

The crash happened when a California Highway Patrol officer reportedly drove against a stop sign at Brawley. Earlier reports indicated the CHP patrol vehicle rammed the truck and trailer of Fred Ricardo.

Deadly Car Accident in Edison, October 22

Responding emergency crews found the civilian driver with serious injuries. An ambulance then rushed the man to a hospital, where he later sadly died.

Additional details on the horrible car crash have not been discussed thus far. Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the car accident in Edison that killed Fred Ricardo.
