Bicyclist, 22, Killed in Hit-and-Run
LOCATION: South Los Angeles
DATE OF INCIDENT: Monday, April 9th
(April 11, 2018)- According to KTLA 5 News, Frederick Frazier, 22, has been identified as the victim fatally injured in a malicious hit-and-run collision which took place Monday.
The collision occurred at an unspecified time at the intersection of Manchester Boulevard and Normandie Avenue which is located in betwen the Manchester Square and Vermont Knolls neighborhoods.
Porsche Cayenne SUV Confirmed Involved Vehicle
Los Angeles Police Captain Jonathan Tom informed KTLA 5 News that Frazier had been riding a bicycle across the intersection before being hit by what witnesses were able to confirm to have been a Porshce Cayenne SUV.
Following impact, the driver of the Porsche failed to stop and render aid to the 22-year-old young man whose white bicycle was found in the middle of the street with a miss back tire.
Frederick Frazier tragically did not survive the impact of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene, per KTLA 5 News.
Meanwhile, the hit-and-run driver remains at-large at this time. A $50,000 cash reward has been offered by the Los Angeles Police Department for anyone who has information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect responsible.
No further details have been disclosed as this story will be updated once information is released on the suspect.
