Frederico Berra and Maria Esper Oakhurst Car Accident at Highway 41 and Highway 49OAKHURST, Madera County (May 7, 2018) – Three people were injured after two vehicles collided in the area of Highway 41 and Highway 49 late Sunday morning.

According to the Fresno Bee, the crash happened when a Ford Fusion accelerated for unknown reasons and flew over the median of Highway 41 and Highway 49, where it struck a Mustang.

Good Samaritans who witnessed the incident immediately rendered aid to all the parties involved.

As per the article, two people who appeared to be hurt were found inside the wrecked Mustang. Officials identified the Mustang occupants as 34-year-old Frederico Berra and 31-year-old Maria Esper, both from Argentina. Medical records indicated Berra and Esper were transported to Saint Agnes in Fresno for treatment of unspecified extent of injuries.

Forrest Null, 70, Badly Injured in Madera Car Accident

Authorities have also identified the Fusion driver as 70-year-old Forrest Null. Primary reports indicated Null was unconscious following the collision, and appeared to have suffered serious trauma. The man was flown to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno.

The conditions of all the patients at this time remained undisclosed.

Detectives continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led to the crash.
