1 Killed in Studio City Crash on 101 Freeway at Laurel Canyon
STUDIO CITY, Calif. (March 1. 2023) – Fredrik Avanesian, 46, died in a Studio City crash on the Hollywood 101 Freeway and Laurel Canyon Boulevard in Studio City.
The traffic accident took place about 2:45 a.m. on Sunday, February 26th, according to the FOX 11 News and My News LA,
Two vehicles collided due to unknown circumstances in the westbound lanes of the Hollywood 101 Freeway.
1 Killed, 1 Injured in Hollywood 101 Freeway Crash
Firefighters and paramedics responded and located Fredrik Avanesian suffering from major injuries, but despite efforts to save his life he died on scene. Meanwhile, a second person suffered undisclosed injuries in the collision and was taken to a hospital.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner identified Fredrik Avanesian on its website.
Finally, the CHP closed down the westbound lanes of the 101 Freeway to conduct an investigation into the cause of the fatal Studio City crash.
