2-Vehicle Crash on I-880 Freeway in Fremont
FREMONT, Calif. (April 8, 2024) — A Fremont car versus truck accident happened Monday morning on the Interstate 880 Freeway, just north of Decoto Road.
The collision occurred at around 11:47 a.m. on April 8th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a box truck and another vehicle were involved and the smaller car overturned during the collision.
At least three occupants from the vehicle were trapped in the wreckage and firefighters were helping them get out, but they were alert and able to move around.
At least one person had minor injuries, but there were no further details.
Finally, investigators are working to determine fault for the accident on the 880 Freeway in Fremont.
