Multi-Vehicle Fremont Crash I-680 Freeway
FREMONT, Calif. (Sept. 16, 2021) — A Fremont crash on the Interstate 680 Freeway today left at least one person with minor injuries.
The collision happened about 5:11 a.m. on Sept. 16th near State Route Highway 262, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reported a gray Honda Civic, an silver Toyota RAV4 SUV and a white Nissan Sentra collided in the middle and slow lanes of the freeway.
The Toyota reportedly rear-ended the Nissan due to unknown circumstances. There are no further details provided in the police report online.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the car and SUV from the scene of the crash.
Paramedics responded due to minor injuries, but it’s unknown if anyone was hospitalized.
Investigators seek to determine fault for the crash.
