Vehicle Strikes, Kills Man Near Fremont Boulevard Offramp Wednesday
Fremont, CA (March 9, 2022) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred Wednesday on Interstate 880, also known as Nimitz Freeway.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a white Honda sedan struck a individual in the northbound side of the freeway. Initial records indicated the horrible crash took place near the Fremont Boulevard offramp.

Shortly after 9:50 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the accident scene. First responders found the victim lying on the ground. Despite life-saving measures performed by paramedics, the pedestrian sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver of the Honda sedan.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine several unclear factors surrounding the deadly accident on Interstate 880 in Fremont.
