Motorcycle Rider Killed in Crash on Mission Boulevard Near Mayhews Road Thursday
Fremont, CA (February 4, 2021) – A motorcycle rider died following a traffic collision on Mission Boulevard Thursday morning, the East Bay Times reported.
Officials said the motorcyclist was heading north on Mission Boulevard in Fremont’s Niles District. When the rider approached the intersection at Mayhews Road, they reportedly broadsided the truck. The news article mentioned the truck was traveling west on Mayhews when the horrible crash took place.
Emergency teams arrived at the location shortly after 7:05 a.m. Responding officers immediately closed a portion of Mission Boulevard in both directions to give way to the investigation.
Deadly Motorcycle Accident in Fremont, February 4
Shortly after the wreck, authorities confirmed the motorcyclist sadly died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
The truck operator stopped after the crash and stayed at the scene.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate several factors surrounding the deadly motorcycle crash on Mission Boulevard.
