1 Killed in Fremont Crash at Mission Boulevard and Dalgo Road
FREMONT, CA (April 11, 2021) – A motorcycle crash killed one person at Mission Boulevard and Dalgo Road in Fremont.
According to reports by The Mercury News and NBC Bay Area, the tragic accident occurred on Saturday April 10. The road doubles as state Highway 238 through Fremont.
Police said a vehicle and a motorcycle rider collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed at the intersection of Mission Boulevard and Dalgo Road.
Motorcycle Collision in Mission San Jose District
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene in the Mission San Jose District. They confirmed that one individual died as a result of the collision.
The name of the deceased party has not ben yet released pending notification of next of kin. Police did not mention if the victim was the motorcyclist or the driver of the vehicle.
Meanwhile, officials then forced southbound Mission Boulevard between Las Palmas Avenue and Dalgo Road to close for several hours following the crash.
The cause of the fatal Fremont collision is still under investigation.
