Motorcyclist Injured in Car Crash on Interstate 880 in Fremont
FREMONT, Calif. (July 17, 2019) — A motorcyclist was injured Wednesday morning in a collision with a vehicle on the southbound Interstate 880 Freeway.
The crash was reported at 9:57 a.m. and was blocking the No. 3 lane. The driver of a 4-door Nissan sedan was involved in the crash under the Stevenson Boulevard overpass. Paramedics responded to the scene where the rider was treated for undisclosed injuries.
The motorcycle suffered rear-end damage in the crash and both the bike and the Nissan were towed away.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash and liability.
