Motorcyclist Injured in Fremont Crash on Interstate 880 Near Mowry

FREMONT, CA (March 3, 2023) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a crash on the Interstate 880 near Mowry Avenue in Fremont.

The California Highway Patrol first logged the accident on Wednesday morning. Officers reported the wreck on March 1 at around 10:06 a.m.

The incident happened when the motorcycle rider and a car collided for an unknown reason in Fremont. The two crashed on the southbound side of the Interstate 880 near Mowry Avenue.

Motorcycle and Car Collide

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the motorcyclist who ended up with a nosebleed and abrasions to their legs as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel then rushed the patient to the Eden Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.

Meanwhile, CHP forced the southbound lanes of the Interstate 880 to shut down near Mowry following the wreck. The cause of the Fremont crash is still under investigation.
