Several Injured After Crash at Belmont and Grantland Avenue Wednesday
Fresno, CA (October 21, 2020) – Two people suffered serious injuries following a traffic collision in the area of Belmont and Grantland avenues, according to an article published by Your Central Valley.
The crash took place at approximately 8 a.m.
Truck vs. Car Accident in Fresno, October 21
Per local news source, a truck traveling north on Grantland Avenue stopped at the stop sign. When the truck pulled out at the intersection, a car traveling east on Belmont Avenue hit the truck.
Medical personnel responded to the crash site and rendered aid to the victims. Officials confirmed the 19-year-old woman behind the wheel of the car and her four passengers all sustained injuries as a result of the incident. Our sources indicated a 45-year-old female passenger suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash.
Meanwhile, two children reportedly suffered major injuries; and a third juvenile sustained minor injury. The ages of the injured minors were between 8 and 12-years-old.
The operator of the truck suffered minor injuries in the collision.
Additional details on the wreck have not been revealed thus far. Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate liability in the car accident in Fresno.
