Driver Runs Stop Sign at Fresno Intersection
FRESNO, Calif. (Feb. 12, 2025) — A two-vehicle car accident happened Tuesday night at a four-way intersection at North Dickenson Avenue and West Belmont Avenue in Fresno.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 5:26 p.m. on Feb. 11th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a driver in a red pickup truck allegedly drove through a stop sign and hit a grey Chevrolet sedan.
Paramedics responded and located a woman from one of the vehicles with minor injuries who needed transport to a hospital.
Meanwhile, a tow truck removed both vehicles including the pickup truck due to major front-end damage.
Also, PG&E was contacted to respond to the intersection for a damaged pole that required repair or replacement.
Investigators closed down the intersection to conduct an investigation into the crash and will determine fault.
