FRESNO: Car Accident California Avenue, Hayes Avenue (Oct. 24)

2-Vehicle Collision at California and Hayes Avenues

FRESNO, Calif. (Oct. 24, 2024) — A two-vehicle Fresno car accident happened Thursday morning at West California Avenue and South Hayes Avenue.

The traffic accident occurred at 10:33 a.m. on Oct. 24th, according to the California Highway Patrol report.

CHP officials reported a silver Nissan and a gold Toyota Camry sedan were involved. The Nissan wound up going off the roadway and into a field.

Paramedics responded to help at least one person with injuries, but there are no further details.

Tow trucks removed both damaged vehicles and debris from the roadway.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the Fresno crash on California Avenue.
