Pickup Truck Collides into BMW on SR-168 in Fresno
FRESNO, Calif. (Dec. 11, 2024) — A two-vehicle Fresno car accident happened Wednesday morning on state Route Highway 168, just west of East Shields Avenue.
The traffic collision occurred in the westbound lanes at around 7:42 a.m. on Dec. 11th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a driver in a gray Chevrolet pickup truck crossed from the “middle (lane) to the slow lane at a high rate of speed and slammed into the back of a (white) BMW.”
The CHP report also stated the (Chevrolet pickup was driving recklessly prior to the traffic collision.”
The BMW was stopped in the slow lane and the pickup was blocking the slow and middle lanes of SR-168, the report said.
Meanwhile, the driver did not immediately get out of the pickup truck and it was beginning to smoke.
Also, police were in contact with the driver of the BMW who was identified as Fourozan Moulana, but it’s unknown if the motorist was injured.
Paramedics responded to help anyone hurt in the crash.
Finally, investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Highway 168 accident in Fresno
