1 Injured in Fresno Crash on Southbound Highway 99 Friday
FRESNO (April 12, 2019) – One was hospitalized after a traffic collision involving multiple vehicles along Highway 99 on Friday afternoon.
According to California Highway Patrol dispatch team, possibly four to five cars collided for an unknown reason in the southbound lanes of Highway 99.
The accident was reported at about 5:16 p.m., just north of Jensen Avenue off-ramp.
Some of the vehicles involved were described as a white Toyota Camry, black Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck and possibly a Honda Pilot which sustained rear-end damage upon impact.

Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and attended to one person who suffered minor to moderate injuries following the crash.
The patient was then taken to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment. The name and condition of the wounded party at this time were not disclosed.
Authorities are still gathering more information and evidence to determine the cause of the incident.
