2 Drivers Hospitalized After Collision at Jensen and Cornelia Avenue Friday
Fresno, CA (May 14, 2021) – Two drivers suffered injuries following a traffic accident in the area of Jensen and Cornelia Avenue Friday morning.
According to Your Central Valley News, a BMW was stopped at the intersection in Fresno County. When the BMW accelerated through the intersection, a truck also drove in.

Officials said the driver of the big rig was unable to stop and struck the car. The force from the impact caused the truck to roll over multiple times. When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found the big rig overturned.
Responding medical personnel rendered aid to the driver of the car and the truck. Due to the extent of their injuries, paramedics transported both drivers to the hospital for treatment.
The crash took place at about 9 a.m. Additional details on the wreck have not been discussed thus far. Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine exactly how and why the car and big rig accident in Fresno happened.
