1 Seriously Injured in Fresno Crash at Manning Avenue and West Avenue
FRESNO, CA (September 16, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash at Manning Avenue and West Avenue in Fresno.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident on Thursday night. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck shortly before 9:30 p.m.
CHP said three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Fresno. They crashed at the intersection of West Manning Avenue and South West Avenue.
Semi-Truck, Cars Collide
The incident log described the vehicles as a semi-truck hauling almonds, a Hyundai and a Chrysler. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the big rig in a field.
Medical personnel confirmed that one person sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. They then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment.
Officials did not disclose the name of the patient and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Manning Avenue and West Avenue to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Fresno crash is still under investigation.
