
2 Injured in Fresno Crash at Gettysburg and Palm Avenues
FRESNO, CA (May 5, 2023) – A crash left two people injured at Gettysburg and Palm avenues in the city of Fresno.
According to an article published by Your Central Valley, the accident took place on Thursday night. Officers reported the wreck on May 4 at around 9 p.m.
The incident happened when for an unknown reason, an SUV ran the red light at the intersection of Gettysburg and Palm avenues in Fresno.
2 Vehicles Collide
The California Highway Patrol said the SUV then slammed into another vehicle. The SUV rolled over upon impact and came to a rest on its roof.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the driver of the SUV and the other motorist hurt. Both sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel evaluated and provided treatment to the patients at the site. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Gettysburg and Palm to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Fresno crash is still under investigation.
