5 Injured in Fresno Crash at Jensen and Minnewawa Avenues
FRESNO, CA (November 15, 2021) – Several were hospitalized after a car crash at Jensen and Minnewawa avenues in Fresno.
According to The Fresno Bee and Your Central Valley, the accident took place on Monday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 8:30 a.m.
Fresno police said a pickup truck and a Toyota Camry collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed at East Jensen and South Minnewawa avenues.
The pickup then rolled over due to the impact. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the sced extricated three trapped occupants of the pickup from the wreckage.
2 Cars Collide
All three rescued people, including a 4-year-old and a person in their 60s, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. An occupant of the Toyota complained of pain as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel took the four patients to a hospital for treatment. The reports did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile , police forced the area of Jensen and Minnewawa avenues to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Fresno crash is still under investigation.
