1 Seriously Injured in Fresno Crash at Jensen and Marks Avenues
FRESNO, CA (April 24, 2022) – A car crash seriously injured at least one person at Jensen and Marks avenues in Fresno.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Sunday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 5:50 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Fresno. They crashed on West Jensen Avenue at the intersection with South Marks Avenue.
2 Cars Collide
The incident log described the cars as a silver sedan and a gray Dodge pickup truck. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near West Park.
Medical personnel found one occupant who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. They then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment.
The name of the patient and their condition at this time were not released. Meanwhile, CHP forced Jensen Avenue to shut down just west of Marks following the wreck.
The cause of the Fresno crash is still under investigation.
