3 Injured in Fresno Crash at Shaw Avenue and Cedar Avenue
FRESNO, CA (May 30, 2021) – A car crash at Shaw Avenue and Cedar Avenue left three people injured in Fresno.
According to an article published by the ABC 30 News, the accident occurred early Sunday. Officers reported the wreck at around 1:30 a.m.
The incident began when for an unknown reason a white sedan ran a red light at the intersection of Shaw and Cedar avenues in Fresno. In the process, the car collided with a blue colored truck.
Driver Runs Red Lights, Hits Truck
The sedan rolled over due to the impact of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near the Fresno State Campus.
The driver of the white vehicle, a woman in her 20s, suffered life-threatening injuries as a result of the wreck. The two occupants of the truck sustained minor injuries.
Medical personnel rushed the woman to a hospital and listed her in critical condition. The names of the wounded parties were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, officials forced the intersection of Shaw and Cedar avenues to close following the wreck. Authorities are still investigating the Fresno crash.
