Fresno crash Highway 168 McKinley
1 Seriously Injured in Fresno Crash on Highway 168 at McKinley Avenue Off-Ramp
FRESNO, CA (August 29, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash on Highway 168 and McKinley Avenue in Fresno.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the wreck occurred on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the accident at about 2:50 p.m.
According to CHP, a pickup truck and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason in Fresno. The two crashed on westbound Highway 168 at the McKinley Avenue off-ramp.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found one person who ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not disclose the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the westbound Highway 168 at McKinley off-ramp to shut down for an hour following the wreck. The cause of the Fresno crash is still under investigation.
