1 Injured in Fresno Car Crash on Westbound Highway 180 Near Highway 99

FRESNO, CA (September 16, 2021) – At least one was hospitalized after a car crash on Highway 180 in Fresno.

The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Thursday afternoon. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 4:56 p.m.

CHP said four vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Fresno. They crashed on westbound side of Highway 180, just east of Highway 99.

Multiple Vehicles Collide

The report described the cars involved as a gray Toyota pickup, a black Dodge Challenger, a black Nissan and a white colored vehicle.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They then found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel took the patient to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.

Meanwhile, CHP forced the westbound lanes of Highway 180 to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Fresno car crash is still under investigation.
