Man Injured in Fresno Crash on Highway 41 Near Ashlan Avenue
FRESNO, CA (September 25, 2022) – A man was hospitalized after a car crash on Highway 41 near Ashlan Avenue in Fresno.
According to an article published by the FOX 26 News, the accident took place on Thursday. Officers reported the wreck in the morning of September 22.
The incident happened when for an unknown reason, a vehicle slammed into the rear of another car in the city of Fresno. The two crashed on Highway 41 near Ashlan Avenue.
2 Vehicles Collide
The California Highway Patrol said the rear-ended car went up the embankment due to the impact of the collision. The car rolled over and then came to a rest on its side.
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and freed the trapped male driver from the overturned car. He sustained minor injuries as a result of the accident.
Medical personnel then rushed the man to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded patient and his condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced one lane of Highway 41 to shut down near Ashlan following the wreck. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
