1 Seriously Injured in Fresno Crash at North Avenue and Marks Avenue
FRESNO, CA (February 26, 2021) – A car crash seriously injured at least one person at North Avenue and Marks Avenue in Fresno.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred late Friday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 11:19 p.m. in the Edison neighborhood.
CHP said two white colored sedans collided for an unknown reason. The vehicles crashed at the intersection of West North and South Marks avenues in Fresno.
Rollover Collision Near Regional Sports Complex
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene near the Regional Sports Complex. They found one of the cars involved which rolled onto its side upon impact.
Medical personnel then attended to one individual who suffered major injuries as a result of the collision. They took the wounded party to the hospital for treatment.
The name of the patient and their condition at this time were not released. Meanwhile, officials forced the intersection to close following the Fresno crash.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the wreck.
