At Least 1 Badly Hurt in Collision at Minnewawa and Central Avenue Wednesday
Fresno, CA (June 9, 2021) – An accident involving a semi truck occurred Wednesday in the area of Minnewawa and Central Avenue, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Initial records indicated the semi truck collided with a white Honda Civic at the Fresno intersection. At this time, the exact number of occupants in the sedan when the crash happened remained unclear.
Major Injury Car, Truck Accident in Fresno [June 9]
Shortly after 4:55 a.m., emergency crews arrived at the location and found one person in the sedan with injuries. Paramedics rendered aid to the victim, and later confirmed they sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. The name of the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
The truck operator appeared unharmed after the incident, authorities said.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate at this time several factors surrounding the car and truck accident at Minnewawa and Central Avenue in Fresno.
