FRESNO, California (April 8, 2016) — Several chairs fell off the back of a white pickup truck and caused a 4-vehicle injury collision including a rollover Friday afternoon on the eastbound State Route 168 at Shaw Avenue, a California Highway Patrol report said. The crash took place about 12 p.m.
One of the vehicles, a white Ford SUV veered off the freeway and went up an embankment and flipped over. Firefighters responding to the crash helped the person inside get out of the vehicle upon their arrival at the scene.
The woman driving the white Nissan pickup truck pulled over and contacted police. The other vehicles involved were a white Ford XPL, a black Cadillac and a silver Kia.
Paramedics transported two people with minor injuries to a local hospital for treatment.
Police will issue a report detailing their findings of liability for the crash.
