FRESNO COUNTY: Car Accident Highway 180 Near Fulton Street

Major Injury Crash on Highway 180

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (Dec. 18, 2023) — Two motorists were involved in a car accident on Highway 180 on Sunday afternoon near Fulton Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the collision at about 12 p.m. on Dec. 17th, 2023, ABC 30 news reports. The drivers of a station wagon and a car both veered off the highway due to unknown circumstances. The vehicles went through a guard rail on the right shoulder on the westbound side of Highway 180.

Paramedics responded and located several people with injuries that were taken by ambulances to a hospital. The injuries were moderate to major injuries.

Police are investigating what led to the crash and liability.
