FRESNO COUNTY, California (April 4, 2017) – A major injury collision occurred in the area of Auberry and Millerton roads on Tuesday afternoon, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch team.
The accident involving two vehicles took place about 4:52 p.m. At least one person was confirmed to have been seriously injured following the crash.
As per the report log, fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated one person who was pinned inside one car. That patient and another sustained unspecified injuries while a third victim complained of pain and possibly suffered a broken hand in the wreck.
CHP affirmed that two of the victims were transported to the hospitals for further treatment. Their names and condition at this time were not disclosed.
Authorities will continue to investigate the cause of the incident.
