2 Badly Injured in Fresno County Crash at Clayton and Chestnut Avenues
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (April 24, 2022) – Two were badly injured after a car crash at Clayton and Chestnut avenues in Fresno County.
According to an article published by Your Central Valley, the accident took place on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 4 p.m.
The incident happened when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Fresno County. They crashed at the intersection of Clayton and Chestnut avenues.
2 Cars Collide
The California Highway Patrol described the cars as a pickup truck and an SUV. The cab of the pickup then rolled over in the front yard of a house and the bed of the truck ended up ripped off.
The SUV became stuck on top of a gate and chain-link fence as a result of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and extricated two trapped occupants from the wreckage.
Medical personnel soon took both patients to a hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Clayton and Chestnut avenues to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Fresno County crash is still under investigation.
