2 Injured in Fresno County Crash at Highway 41 and Nebraska Avenue
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (April 13, 2023) – Two were injured after a crash at Highway 41 and Nebraska Avenue in Fresno County.
According to the FOX 26 News and Your Central Valley, the accident took place on Thursday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on April 13 at around 3:45 p.m.
The incident happened when a Dodge minivan was traveling west on Nebraska Avenue near Highway 41 in Fresno County. At the same time, a Ford super-duty work truck was going north on the highway.
For an unknown reason, the Dodge pulled away from the stop sign as it approached the intersection and stopped in the middle of the road. In the process, the Ford collided with the minivan.
2 Cars Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found both drivers hurt. The woman in her mid 60s driving the van sustained moderate injuries as a result of the collision.
An air ambulance flew her to the Community Regional Medical Center for treatment. Medical personnel at the site attended to the male motorist in the truck who complained of pain upon impact.
The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Highway 41 and Nebraska Avenue to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Fresno County crash is still under investigation.
