3 Injured in Fresno County Crash at Jensen and Brawley Avenues
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (September 19, 2022) – Several were injured after a car crash at Jensen and Brawley avenues in Fresno County.
The incident happened when a Chevy SUV failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Jensen and Brawley avenues in Fresno County.
The California Highway Patrol said in the process, the Chevy slammed into a Ford SUV. The Ford had the right of way at the time of the collision.
2 Cars Collide
One of the cars involved then struck a power pole nearby. The pole ended up snapped off at its base upon impact and landed on the vehicle.
The 31-year-old man driving the Ford sustained major injuries as a result of the accident. Paramedics rushed him to a hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Chevy, a 29-year-old woman, survived the incident with minor to moderate injuries. A male passenger from one car obtained minor injuries following the incident.
The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Jensen and Brawley avenues to shut down after the wreck.
The cause of the Fresno County crash is still under investigation.
