1 Seriously Injured in Fresno County Crash at Elm Avenue and Floral Avenue
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (August 31, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash at Elm Avenue and Floral Avenue in Fresno County.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Monday afternoon. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 12:31 p.m.
The accident took place on August 30 when a silver SUV and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason in Fresno County. They crashed at the intersection of South Elm Avenue and East Floral Avenue.
2 Vehicles Collide
CHP said one of the cars involved rolled onto its side near a canal bank. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Highway 41.
Medical personnel found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. A helicopter then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment.
Officials did not disclose the name of the patient and their condition at the time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Elm and Floral avenues to shut down following the wreck.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Fresno County crash.
