1 Seriously Injured in Fresno County Crash at Highway 145 and Kamm Avenue
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (November 9, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash at Highway 145 and Kamm Avenue in Fresno County.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 4:24 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the Helm community of Fresno County. They crashed at the intersection of Highway 145, known as Lassen Avenue, and Kamm Avenue.
2 Vehicles Collide
CHP described the two cars as a a black Jetta and a white truck. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Helm Market and Gas.
Medical personnel found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. They then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not release the name of the patient and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Highway 145 and Kamm Avenue to shut down for an hour following the wreck.
The cause of the Fresno County crash is still under investigation.
