1 Seriously Injured in Fresno County Crash Near Shaw Avenue and Howard Avenue
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (October 4, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash near Shaw Avenue and Howard Avenue in Fresno County.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the wreck took place on Monday evening. Officers reported the accident at about 7:42 p.m.
CHP said at least two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Fresno County. They crashed on West Shaw Avenue, just west of the intersection with North Howard Avenue.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Biola and Kerman areas. They found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of Shaw Avenue to shut down near Howard following the wreck. The cause of the Fresno County crash is still under investigation.
