Fresno County Car Accident on Interstate 5 Freeway
FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (June 18, 2021) — A Fresno County crash left one person dead after a car exploded in a collision with another motorist on the Interstate 5 Freeway.
The two-vehicle Fresno County crash happened at the Fresno/Coalinga off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
After the two vehicles collided one of the cars caught on fire and then exploded.
Meanwhile, authorities mentioned that one person died in the collision. It’s unknown at this time what led up to the crash.
Police closed down the Interstate 5 Freeway for several hours to investigate the collision.
