2 Killed, 1 Injured in Collision on Auberry Road Saturday
Fresno, CA (January 8, 2022) – Two people died, and another person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Auberry Road Saturday afternoon.
The Fresno Bee News reported two parties were riding their motorbikes traveling on Auberry Road. Preliminary investigation revealed the motorcyclists veered into the opposite lanes in an attempt to pass slower traffic.
Our sources indicated the rider collided head-on into an SUV driving in the opposite direction. The catastrophic incident took place shortly before 3:40 p.m.
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found the two motorcycle riders unconscious. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to both parties but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. The identity of the fatal victims remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, officials mentioned the driver of the SUV sustained moderate injuries as a result of the wreck. Paramedics transported the patient to the hospital for treatment.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole afternoon to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the fatal crash on Auberry Road in Fresno.
