Man Hospitalized After Crash Near Cornelia Avenue
Fresno County, CA (November 13, 2022) – A pedestrian suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on West Shields Avenue, the Fresno Bee News reported.
Our sources indicated a male party was walking in an easterly direction on West Shields Avenue Sunday evening. In the area near Cornelia Avenue, an eastbound vehicle struck the man. The collision took place at about 7 p.m.
Major Injury Pedestrian Accident on West Shields Avenue in Fresno
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found the pedestrian suffering in injuries. Responding medical personnel rendered aid to the man; then transferred him to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment of major trauma. Authorities only identified the victim as a 44-year-old male.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver involved in the crash.
Investigators handling the case continue to work at this time to determine exactly how and why the pedestrian accident happened on West Shields Avenue in Fresno County.
