Major Injury Fresno County Accident on I-5 Freeway
FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (April 21, 2021) — A Fresno County truck and SUV crash happened Wednesday morning on the Interstate 5 Freeway, just south of Jayne Avenue.
The crash happened about 9:33 a.m. on April 21st, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The driver of a silver 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe collided with the semi truck due to unknown reasons. The SUV suffered major damage in the collision.

Meanwhile, paramedics responded to treat at least one person for major injuries before transporting them to a hospital. The report did not provide the age and gender or identity of those hurt in the crash.
Additionally, the truck driver stopped and cooperated with the CHP investigation. A tow truck removed the damaged SUV from the crash scene.
Finally, investigators will determine fault for the Fresno County truck crash.
