Fresno Crash Involving Semi-Trucks on Highway 99, Herndon Avenue

FRESNO, Calif. (June 20, 2025) — Two separate Fresno collisions, one crash involving an overturned semi-truck and the other a pickup truck and a second semi-truck, shut down multiple lanes of northbound Highway 99.
It happened around 2:49 a.m. on June 20th, just north of Herndon Avenue early Friday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP dispatch operators began receiving reports of the first collision involving an overturned semi-truck in a solo collision. The big rig spilled its load and was blocking several lanes.

This big rig tipped over onto its side between lanes 1 and 2 after colliding with a pickup truck. The pickup became wedged in the wreckage and was blocking lanes 1 and 2.
