DUI Suspect Arrested for Fresno Crash on Shields Avenue
FRESNO, Calif. (August 19, 2022) — A Fresno crash happened Friday morning on the eastbound Shields Avenue between First and Fresno streets.
The collision occurred about 1 a.m. on August 19th, according to a report by ABC 30 News.
A driver reportedly collided with another motorist due to unknown circumstances at the Fresno intersection.
Authorities investigating the collision determined that one of the motorist was allegedly driving under the influence of drugs and or alcohol.
A passenger in the suspect’s vehicle was injured in the crash. Paramedics transported the person to a hospital. However, the driver in the second vehicle was not harmed.
Meanwhile, police arrested the driver suspected of DUI.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
