2-Vehicle Rollover Crash in Fresno on Sierra Highway 168
FRESNO, Calif. (August 25, 2021) — A Fresno crash on Sierra Highway 168 happened Wednesday morning near Shields Avenue.
The collision happened about 3:35 a.m. on August 25th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reported two vehicles overturned on their sides in the traffic accident. Both vehicles went off the roadway following the impact.

The Fresno Fire Department responded and noted that the involved BMW was on fire in the gore point of the roadway. The Mercedes was on its side, but it doesn’t appear that anyone became trapped in the collision. The report did not mention how many people were injured.
Meanwhile, two trucks removed both damaged vehicles from the Fresno crash scene on Sierra Highway.
Investigators seek to determine the cause of the crash and liability. Witnesses may contact the CHP’s Fresno station.
