Vehicle Strikes, Kills Pedestrian at Dayton and Fruit Avenue Saturday
Fresno, CA (May 16, 2021) – On May 15, Saturday, a pedestrian died following a traffic accident in the area of Dayton and Fruit Avenue.
According to ABC30 News, a man apparently stepped into Fresno traffic Saturday evening. The passing motorist reportedly tried to swerve but still struck the pedestrian.

Our sources confirmed the male pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries from the collision. Medical personnel performed life-saving measures on the victim, but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. The name of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, officials mentioned the driver involved in the unfortunate event stayed on scene and cooperated with the investigation process.
