Woman Fatally Struck by Vehicle at Sierra and Blackstone Avenue
Fresno, CA (April 9, 2022) – A pedestrian died following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Sierra and Blackstone Avenue Friday evening.
According to an article published online by FOX26 News, a vehicle struck a female party at the intersection in Fresno. The make and model of the car involved in the horrible crash have not been revealed thus far.
Earlier reports indicated the catastrophic incident took place at about 11 p.m.
Pedestrian Dies at Hospital After Accident in Fresno
Per local news source, the pedestrian received medical aid on scene until EMS arrived. Emergency crews then rushed the patient to Community Regional Medical Center, where she sadly passed away. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, the driver involved in the unfortunate event appeared unharmed after the collision. The motorist stayed in the area and cooperated with the investigation process.
Detectives handling the case continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the deadly accident at Sierra and Blackstone Avenue.
