Semi Truck Strikes, Kills Woman Near Olive Avenue
Fresno, CA (September 6, 2022) – A pedestrian died following a traffic accident that occurred on State Route Highway 99, the ABC30 News reported.
Our sources indicated a semi truck heading north on SR-99 struck a woman. The horrible crash took place in the area near Olive Avenue offramp.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Highway 99 in Central Fresno
According to the article published online, the driver of the big rig did not notice the woman standing in the middle of the roadway. The truck driver failed to avoid, and hit the pedestrian. When paramedics arrived at the site, they immediately attended to the woman. Sadly, the pedestrian succumbed to her injuries and passed away at the scene. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the deadly accident happened on Highway 99 in central Fresno.
